Every song from BananaRat Studio is a complete package — not a single file. Here is exactly what you get.

The full output list

Each composition produces the following files, available for download immediately after generation:

  • Lyrics and chord chart (plain text) — The complete lyrics with chord symbols above each line, in plain text. Paste-ready for any writing app, DAW lyrics view, or chord chart application.
  • MIDI Type 1 (multi-track) — A 6-track MIDI file: tempo map, count-in, chord guide with instrument-appropriate voicing, drums with genre-specific patterns and fills, bass line, and melody passthrough. Compatible with any DAW, notation software, or hardware synthesizer.
  • MusicXML lead sheet (.mxl) — A compressed MusicXML file containing the notated melody and chord symbols. Opens directly in Sibelius, Finale, MuseScore, and any other MusicXML-compatible notation application.
  • Per-instrument WAV stems — Separate 48kHz / 24-bit WAV files for each instrument track (drums, bass, chords/guitar, melody). Each stem is mixed individually with EQ, compression, and reverb before export. Use them in your DAW exactly as you would with a live recording session.
  • Mastered MP3 (192kbps) — A stereo master with ID3 tags (title, artist, genre, year) embedded. The mastering chain applies EQ, glue compression, limiting, and LUFS normalization. This is the distribution-ready file.
  • AAF (Advanced Authoring Format) — A Pro Tools-compatible interchange file containing the full multi-track arrangement. Import directly into Pro Tools or other AAF-compatible DAWs to continue production in your preferred environment.
  • Neural audio render with vocals — A full-production audio file generated by a neural audio model trained on diverse musical styles. This is the primary listening experience — complete instrumentation and lead vocals, not a MIDI render. Approximately 2–5 minutes to generate depending on song length.
  • AuthorMark-embedded MP3 — The mastered MP3 with a C2PA content credential manifest and AudioSeal neural watermark embedded. This is the same as the mastered MP3 above, plus provenance metadata. AuthorMark attachment happens automatically after generation.
  • Evidence Bundle PDF — A PDF document containing: your Witness Log (timestamped record of creative decisions), Authorship Evidence score and narrative, AI disclosure statement, and a PRO-ready split sheet template with fields for IPI numbers and ownership percentages.

Cover Mode (restyle) formats

When you generate a Cover Mode alternate version of a song, you receive a new neural audio render in the target genre. The Cover Mode render shares the same chord structure and lyrics as the original; what changes is the instrumentation, tempo feel, and arrangement style. Cover Mode does not regenerate MIDI, MusicXML, or stems — those are tied to the original composition. One credit per Cover Mode render.

Downloading your files

All files are available in My Songs. Click any song to open the player and download panel. Individual format downloads are available as separate buttons. Files are yours to keep — they do not expire and are not deleted when your subscription or trial ends.
