What is included in the free trial?
You can make one free song as a guest, and a free account gives you three more. No payment method required.
What the free trial includes
Free trial songs deliver the same files as paid songs. The one difference is licensing: free songs are for personal, non-commercial use and need a “Made with BananaRat Studio” credit. Any paid credit unlocks full commercial rights. You get the same full package:
- Complete lyrics and chord chart
- MIDI file, MusicXML lead sheet, per-instrument WAV stems
- Mastered MP3 with embedded ID3 tags
- AAF file for professional DAW import
- Neural audio render with vocals
- AuthorMark C2PA content credentials
- Evidence Bundle PDF with Witness Log and authorship narrative
There is no feature gating on free trial songs.
How long the trial lasts
Your 3 free songs must be used within 14 days of first signing in to the Studio. After that the free-song offer closes; the songs you have already made stay in My Songs. This window is fixed and cannot be extended.
If you sign in and do not generate any songs within 14 days, the free-song offer expires unused. The free trial is one per person — please don’t open extra accounts to reset it.
What happens after the trial
When your trial songs are used or the 14-day window closes, your account continues to work — you just cannot generate new songs until you purchase a credit pack. Your existing songs, their files, and your account data stay intact when the trial ends. One exception applies at every tier: per-instrument WAV stems are removed at least 30 days after the song is made unless you have downloaded them.
