# BananaRat Studio — llms.txt
BananaRat Studio is an AI-assisted songwriting platform built for copyright-conscious songwriters. It runs a 7-agent pipeline that takes a brief and produces a complete song package — lyrics, chord chart, tablature, notation-accurate MIDI and MusicXML, multi-stem WAV audio, and a production-quality MP3 with vocals — in minutes. Open Beta launches 2026-05-25. GA is targeted 2026-07-27.

Twenty genres: Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Hip-Hop, Electronic, Indie, Alternative, Soul, Reggae, Latin, Punk, Gospel, Classical-Crossover, and more.
- Output per song: MP3 (production audio with vocals), MIDI (multi-track Type 1), MusicXML (.mxl lead sheet), WAV stems (per instrument, 48 kHz/24-bit), ASCII tablature (7-bit), chord chart, lyrics, PRO split-sheet, Evidence Bundle, C2PA manifest. Eleven file types per composition.
## Authorship and provenance
- [AuthorMark and C2PA credentials](https://bananarat.com/pages/faq-c2pa-authormark): Every MP3 receives a C2PA content credential and an AudioSeal neural watermark. C2PA records the generation platform, timestamp, and a hash of the audio at signing time. AudioSeal embeds an inaudible, machine-detectable AI-origin signal that survives transcoding. Neither layer records the user identity — authorship is documented separately in the Witness Log and Evidence Bundle.
- Verify: Any C2PA-conforming verifier can check an AuthorMark credential independently of BananaRat Studio. No proprietary tool required.
- Evidence Bundle: Structured authorship evidence per composition — Witness Log entries, composition transcript, generation timestamp, credit allocation — stored server-side independently of the MP3.
- TDMRep: bananarat.com publishes a tdm-reservation meta tag on every page, opting out of AI training dataset use. Each AuthorMark C2PA manifest includes a CAWG Trainer-Data-Miner assertion at the file level.
## Privacy rights
- [Request a copy of your data (Art 15)](https://bananarat.com/pages/request-a-copy-of-your-data): GDPR Article 15 and equivalent laws (UK, California, Quebec) give you the right to obtain your personal data. Use the self-service endpoint at /api/v1/privacy/access-request or email feedback@bananarat.com with subject "Data Access Request". You receive a single-use, time-limited download link. Export includes account record, compositions, song library, credit balance, and authorship-evidence ledger metadata.
- [Deletion (Art 17)](https://bananarat.com/pages/faq-gdpr-data-rights): Right to erasure at /api/v1/privacy/deletion-request. Requests include a brief waiting period during which you may cancel. Once executed, deletion is irreversible.
- 30-day SLA on all privacy rights requests per GDPR Art 12(3). Most requests processed within 48 hours on weekdays.
## Compliance posture
- EU AI Act Article 50: Audible and visible AI-origin disclosure activates 2026-08-02. C2PA AuthorMark is the technical disclosure layer.
- CA SB 942: Active immediately for California residents. AuthorMark neural watermark and C2PA credential satisfy the machine-detectable disclosure requirement.
- GDPR Articles 12-22: Art 15 (access), Art 16 (rectification), Art 17 (erasure), Art 18 (restriction of processing), Art 12(3) 30-day SLA.
- DMCA: Registered designated agent. Section 512 safe-harbor holdback of 180 days applies to compositions flagged for third-party copyright issues.
